Lake winds and road salt
Contractors handle older industrial buildings, home garages hit by winter salt, and commercial spaces along the main corridors.
Winters off the lake bring snow, slush and heavy use of road salt, which can etch and spall garage concrete. A durable, chemical-resistant topcoat helps protect the slab.
When to install: Lake breezes keep spring cool and damp, so plan garage work for late spring through early fall. Basements near the lake should be moisture-tested before coating.
