Floors in Rockford
Road salt and oily shop floors
Industrial floors in older plants, machine shops and home garages that face hard winters make up much of the coating work.
Winter brings road salt and slush into garages, and older shop slabs can be soaked with cutting oils. Degrease thoroughly and grind before coating, then use a chemical-resistant topcoat.
When to install: Cold winters limit unheated work for months, so many crews push garages into late spring through early fall. Heated shops can be coated year-round if the slab stays warm enough for the product.
