Floors in Surprise
West-facing garages heat up
Coating work here is mostly residential: garages, golf cart storage, patios and craft or hobby rooms for retirees and young families.
Garages with west-facing doors can get very hot through the afternoon, and the slab holds that heat. Coat when the slab is cool and choose products with workable pot life at higher temperatures. A UV-stable topcoat helps near open doors.
When to install: Winter is the prime install season and the most comfortable for homeowners who stay home during the work. In summer, keep work to the early morning.
