Epoxy & resin supply
for Durham, NC
Old tobacco warehouses in downtown Durham have become offices, restaurants and lofts, while Duke University and the nearby research parks keep bringing in labs and medical buildings.
Floors in Durham
Adaptive reuse of old warehouses
Floor contractors here balance adaptive-reuse projects with lab and clinic spaces, food businesses and residential garages in neighborhoods old and new.
Converted tobacco and industrial buildings often have uneven, patched concrete with old finishes and stains. Grind to sound concrete and repair cracks first, then check moisture, since older slabs rarely have a vapor barrier underneath.
When to install: Summers are humid enough that early-morning starts make sense, and mild winters are workable with a little heat. For unconditioned warehouses, spring and fall give the most predictable cure.
Getting supplies: Durham orders ship from U.S. Resin Supply nationwide, with shipping added to the order. The closest of our 10 stores is U.S. Resin Supply – Tampa in Tampa, FL, about 675 driving miles away.
